I'm a data and product enthusiast, who is currently at UC Berkeley's School of Information, learning how to make human centric products using AI and ML, while driving vision and roadmap for Sisuโs next iteration of web app. Also, a..

I graduated with a degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women (the countryโs top institution) to start my career as a research associate at policy consulting firm, IDinsight. However, I spent most time learning programming languages like Stata, and R, and doing data visualizations in Tableau. I realized I was more interested in data and tech then the core policy work.
So, I joined a data intelligence startup, SocialCops. I wore many hats at SocialCops/Atlan: People Ops, Sales, Project Management, but spent a meaty time leading Enterprise Data Platform doing customer discovery, discussing product features, iterating on the user experience, and building a platform that our users will love. Hereโs a client project for context:

I bootstrapped to build my own product at Restat, but failed to take it beyond beta customers. However, realized how much I love building products, so I joined Parallel to do product strategy across multiple domains. At Parallel, for clients ranging from B2B to B2c: I understood user reqs, created journey maps, wrote user stories, did feature prioritization, & user testing, while growing Parallel 5x in a year.

Finally, I came to Berkeley, following my passion to build great products and learning all about AI, ML. I took courses in Data Engineering, Data Science, and am currently, researching on how LLMโs can be used to run natural language queries on data sources.
At Sisu Data, I managed three product areas: started in App Usability, shipped 70+ app improvements, and then prioritized features and set the vision for Explore & Report functionality, Currently, I am defining the new experience for our web app and how to get Data Analysts to love what Sisu does the best, Key Driver Analysis. Hereโs a reflection on the very first month:
